ROLE TITLE: Service Delivery Manager
JOB PURPOSE
To be in charge of all of PPAG’s clinics and make sure that care and services are of high quality.
KEY FUNCTIONS
- Place the Association Clinics in a way that makes them fully self-sufficient centers of excellence for SRHR services.
- Make sure that medical services are sustainable, set up training programs, and put service delivery strategies into action.
- Make sure the staff at all the clinics and youth centers are motivated and determined to reach the goals that have been set.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Place the clinics of the associations so that they are the best and the leaders in SRHR and training services.
- Watch over, help, and keep an eye on the Clinic Heads.
- Start, improve, and support the quality of care in all PPAG clinics.
- Develop, implement, track, and evaluate business plans to make sure that the Clinics’ income grows in a meaningful way.
- Find the relevant stakeholders in SRHR and work with them to make sure that training and services are always getting better.
- Build up the skills of the staff and all the service providers so that SRHR services in the clinics can be managed and carried out well.
- Motivate the people who work at the clinics by using them well and giving them clear career paths or service plans.
- Then, Set up meetings with service providers every three or six months to share and review their experiences.
- Using the results of research and development, come up with the right ways to deal with ASRH problems and needs.
- Also, Make sure that the IPPF and GHS guidelines and protocols for service delivery are used effectively and efficiently.
- Make sure that the rights of both clients and providers are respected.
- Service statistics need to be coordinated, gathered, and analyzed.
- Make sure that PPAG Clinics keep up high standards of care.
- Finally, Provide technical support to all of the clinics by working closely with the Facility Heads to make sure that all PPAG Clinics are being run well and efficiently.
Skills or Experience Needed
- A Master’s degree in Public Health/Development Studies/Population Studies and a
- Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Community Medicine, and Health, or any other health-related field or its equivalent,
- At least five years of work experience, three of which must be in a key project management or managerial position.
- Having a certificate in project management would be a plus.
Other Qualities and Requirements
- Excellent skills in management, analysis, and math
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Very good interpersonal skills, good human relations, and a team player.
- Must be creative, proactive, and good at setting goals.
- Must have a good understanding of how to run programs and projects.
- Must be able to do their job with little or no help.
- Excellent at using a computer. Must have a strong sense of responsibility and be able to take the lead.
- Must be able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks at the same time.
- Need to be able to travel quickly.
- Must know a lot about youth programming and be good at it.
- Must have experience with managing health goods.
- Working with the Ghana Health Service, the Ministry of Health, development partners, and international donors is a plus.
