Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited (GGB PLC) is a leading brewer and marketer of premium alcoholic and malt drinks in Ghana. GGB PLC operates from two sites in five drinks categories: Beer, RTD, Malt, and Mainstream Spirits as well as the distribution of Premium Spirits.

Job Details

  • Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner
  • Reports: Human Resources Director
  • Level: Level 4
  • Location: Achimota

RESPONSIBILITIES

Talent and Learning & Development

  • Own Talent Agenda and drive difficulty of core HR processes, succession planning, and Performance Management to deliver a step change in bench strength of the function.

Organization Effectiveness

  • Be a leader in developing a winning culture through employee engagement interventions and practices understand and review the organizational structure in the business area to ensure this is fully optimized (e.g. metrics such as COGS, Overtime)

Reward

  • Reward & Recognition Programmes – ensure Sales Incentive Plan delivers the right behaviors and outcomes for the business and embeds annual reward programs.

Qualifications and Experience Required

Interested applicants should possess the following:

  • Degree level qualification.
  • 7-9 years experience in HR and 5 years in a Senior Management position working on a leadership team.
  • Passion for People and the HR Agenda
  • Business-focused with the ability to take insights and translate them into the Organisation & People Agenda.
  • Proven track record to facilitate, persuade, influence, and build credibility with all levels and all functions.
  • Analytical, interpretative, and decision-making skills.
  • Consultancy skills, specifically diagnosis and contracting.
  • Professional qualification and Organisational change experience are preferred but not crucial.

Barriers to Success in Role

  • Inability to manage relationships with multifaceted stakeholders

Flexible Working options

  • Accra based with some travels across sites
