General Manager at LMI Holdings
Purpose
To lead the team with a focus on strategy. Plan, carry out, and finish the production on time and within the price. This includes getting the resources needed and coordinating the work of team members and outside contractors or consultants so that the goods come out the way they are supposed to.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sets out the resources and output schedule
- Makes plans for dealing with risks
- Leads and watches over teams and handles disagreements within the group.
- Sets and manages output goals with the rest of the team and other stakeholders.
- Finds problems with output and fixes them.
- Leadership to describe what needs to be made
- Manages the production budget and looks at the production’s income, margins, bill rates, and use.
- Manages the day-to-day business operations. Analyzes project profitability, income, margins, bill rates, and usage.
- Finds out what tools are needed and who is responsible for what
- Builds, grows, and maintains any business ties that are important to the success of the project.
- Sets production success criteria and shares them with everyone concerned.
Requirements
- Self-motivated and able to work alone or as part of a team. Good planning and customer service skills.
- Excellent speaking skills and the ability to talk and write well
- High business sense and a track record of dealing with everyone from middle managers to decision-makers with ease.
- Must care about customer service.
- Problem-solving skills based on analysis
- Must be achievement-oriented
- Ability to do more than one thing without showing signs of stress
Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Getting a Master of Business Administration
- At least 10 years of experience in the manufacturing business, including at least 3 years of coordinating and/or helping with construction and equipment hire.
