Finance Manager At Real Estate company
A reputable Real Estate company based in Accra is seeking to recruit energetic, hardworking experienced, dedicated, and committed persons as Finance Managers.
Position Summary of Finance Manager
- The role of the Finance Manager is to run the day-to-day operations of the real estate company’s financial activities.
- Implement the financial strategy and manage the functional activities of the Finance department, as provided by the Management.
- In addition, the role shall identify and implement systems, policies, and processes for the Finance department which will improve financial monitoring, accountability, and growth across Rehoboth Housing Limited.
Finance Manager Responsibilities:
- Check the day-to-day financial operations within the company such as the payroll invoicing process suppliers’ invoices and other transactions.
- Set up and manage General Ledger accounts
- Maintain relevant cash books
- Maintain records for the control of all valued books and consumable supplies
- Develop operating guidelines for managing the Finance Office
- Ensure prompt processing of bills, invoices, goods, and services.
- Prepare profitability analysis on all projects on specific order costing
- Prepare strategic plans, business plans, and Budgets
- Prepare detailed proposals and tousers Development Financial institutions and towards raising of project funds.
- Supervise monthly Reconciliadon Statements Banks Suppliers etc.
- Prepare error-free Monthly and Quarterly Management Accounts and ensure they are ready, up-to-date, and on time.
- Supervise year-end Statutory Audits and ensure that Audited Accounts are carried out on time.
- Investigate ways to improve profitability and analyse markets for business opportunities such as expansion, growth, and acquisitions
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and ensure that all returns are filed on time. This includes
- Registrar General’s Annual Returns
- Pension Returns
- GRA tax Returns
EXPERIENCE, and QUALIFICATION of Finance Manager
Must be a member of a recognized Professional Accounting Body, CA, ACCA CRA) MBA (Finance) from an accredited university
At least ten (10) years post qualification with relevant work experience
Work experience in a bank/Financial institution will be an added advantage
KEY REQUIREMENT of Finance Manager
- Skills in ICT with applicable knowledge of accounting software specially QuickBooks
- Good presentation and organizational
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and results-driven
- Committed and dedicated to work
- Must work with very little or no supervision
- Good planner and team player
- Be analytical, focused, and hardworking
