Job Title: Senior Production Operator (SPOP)

Mission

Execute safe and efficient operation of a production plant

Scope

• Area of responsibility covers monitoring of production plant from PCR or in the process plant as assigned by the PSUP.
• The management may assign additional tasks not listed in Job Description

Duties

• Firstly, Follow PTW system, rules, regulations and work procedures applicable to his responsibilities
• Secondly, Then, Execute and coordinate actions to maintain utilities and energy sources necessary to support daily production.
• Thirdly, Assist to organize and control operation of process plant, PCR and relevant utility systems
• Moreover, Execute performance and compliance testing of wells, diagnosis and optimization of production systems
• Additionally, Monitor and control process plant with minimum down time
• Then, Operate and monitor process plant, relevant utility systems, PCR. Perform troubleshooting
• Also, Operate and monitor safety control systems
• More so, Prepare required reports, keep logs and maintain appropriate documentation
• Thereafter, Furthermore, Gather and compile data for daily production reports and maintain a comprehensive log of all production activities
• Most importantly, Analyze production report figures
• Besides that, Assist in meeting of Production Objectives
• Again, Ensure PCR and process field is kept tidy and in good order
• Next is, Monitor and maintain chemical injection equipment and adjust dosage rates as required
• After that, Perform process plant and subsea systems start up and shutdown operations
• Afterwards, Ensure that vendors and contractors are managed safely and effectively
• Last but not least, Undertake training relevant to the position requirements
• Finally, Member of Emergency Response Team

Qualifications

• Technical apprenticeship or equivalent training scheme at higher level.
• Technical qualification as process plant operator
• Standard of competence according to Yinson Competence Assurance Matrix
• Very good English written and spoken
