Job Title: Marketing Analyst
JOB PURPOSE
The person who gets the job will be in charge of doing thorough data analysis and giving actionable insights to help with marketing strategies and making decisions. The Marketing Manager is in charge of the role.
ROLE-SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
- Looks at sales funnels and how customers want to buy.
- Reports on marketing KPIs like leads, conversion rates, website traffic, and engagement on social media.
- Tracks delivery, open, and click-through rates for email campaigns.
- Keeps an eye on how paid advertising campaigns spend their money and how well they do.
- Researches competitors and looks at benchmarking data.
- Makes suggestions for improving the website and the campaign.
- Researches and uses automation software, social media scheduling, and other marketing tools to help the organization’s marketing projects.
- Works closely with the sales and marketing teams to find new client acquisition opportunities.
Skills or Experience Needed
- Bachelor of Science in Business or Marketing.
- Proven experience with marketing analysis, preferably in a similar role or on a marketing or analytics team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to understand complicated data and draw conclusions from it.
- It’s a plus if you know how to use mail chimp and are good at email marketing.
- Experience with platforms for marketing analytics, such as Google Analytics.
- Knowledge of the channels, metrics, and attribution models for digital marketing.
PERSON SPECIFIC REQUIREMENT
- Excellent communication skills so that findings and recommendations can be presented to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and effective way.
- Detail-oriented and able to handle many projects with different priorities at once.
- Strong business sense and knowledge of the goals and strategies of marketing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to understand complicated data and draw conclusions from it.
