ROLE: IT Storage & Cloud Product Manager
Responsibilities:
- Managing the IT storage infrastructure, making sure it works as well as possible, helping with medium-sized to large IT/Cloud and Data Center projects, and working with customers by telling them about the company’s solutions, strategy, and plans for the future. The job requires working together with customers, getting to know their goals, needs, and pain points, coming up with the best solutions, and giving detailed product presentations to middle-level and upper-level management.
- Supporting mid-size to large IT/Cloud and Data Center projects and building relationships with customers by sharing the company’s solutions, strategy, and plans for the future.
- The job requires working together with customers, getting to know their strategies, needs, and pain points, coming up with the best solutions, and giving detailed product presentations to middle and upper management.
- Support customer-focused technology events by preparing technical solutions, going to customer sites and regional Huawei offices to help the account teams, and supporting customer-focused technology events. It may be part of the job to work with the engineering teams to come up with and show proof of concept solutions.
- Brand ambassador who spreads the word about the Huawei IT vision and explains the benefits of Huawei IT/Cloud/Data Center solutions and services.
- Support Huawei IT/Cloud/Data Center Marketing and Branding activities (CXO visits, seminars, workshops, and forums), build and improve relationships with potential customers or partners, and promote the Huawei ICT brand.
- Take part in the creation of training materials, the sharing of experiences, and the teaching of technical skills during trainings put on by HQ/Regions in order to improve sales skills for corporate solutions.
Needed: education, background, and experience.
- Education/Credentials: Bachelor’s degree or higher in telecommunications, computer science, electronics, or marketing.
- Experience: At least 5+ years of sales experience in the IT and banking industries, preferably with a global bank brand. Skills for making presentations and talking to people
- A good relationship between customers and telecoms operators and channel partners
Good at working in a team, able to plan, organize, and work under pressure, and sometimes travels to countries in Asia and Africa. - Sales and business development experience
- Contracts and project negotiation experience for win-win relationships in the telecom industry.
- Ability to make good relationships with customers at all levels
- Good at giving talks and writing down what you want to say.
- Ability to define a project and work on it alone or with a team
- Have the ability to talk to customers and channels and lead them.
- Have the skills to run the project
