Role: Third-Party Truck Recruiter

Summary of Position
Nomad is looking for a skilled Third Party (3P) Truck Recruiter to join our team. Nomad uses a fleet of 3P vehicles that are both company-owned and fully controlled. These vehicles include heavy-duty trucks and trailers as well as containerized trucks with less weight. Our 3P approach is very important to the growth of Nomad.
The person who gets the job will be in charge of finding, hiring, evaluating, and bringing on board suitable 3P trucks that meet company standards. For this job, you need to be very organized, have great communication and negotiating skills, know a lot about the transportation industry, and be able to find and assess 3P trucks. The candidate will have a lot of chances to help shape the structure and strategy of Nomad’s 3P strategy, and most importantly, will help the Company build a name in the market for reliability and excellence.
Duties and Important Tasks
- Create and use effective plans to attract and hire 3P Trucks through different avenues.
- Then, Build and keep in touch with people in the trucking business to find qualified 3P trucks.
- Find approved 3P trucks that are good for Nomad and look for them.
- Also, Work with members of the Nomad team to find out 3P Trucks’ unique needs and preferences.
- Manage and help new 3Ps with the process of getting started. Help and guide 3Ps through the onboarding process, making sure they have all the knowledge and tools they need to meet our company’s standards.
- Use tracking tools and databases to keep track of 3P information, applications, and paperwork.
- Tell possible 3Ps about Nomad’s mission, policies, procedures, and standards.Make regular reports on 3P recruitment efforts, performance, and compliance metrics
- Look at what your competitors are doing and how the industry is doing to come up with good employment strategies.
- Analyze the data to find trends, problems, and ways to improve the 3P employment process.
Qualifications
- a four-year degree from a university that is recognized
- Proven experience in recruitment or a similar role, ideally in the transport or logistics industry. Strong knowledge of the Ghana transport industry, including familiarity with 3P dynamics, laws, and requirements.
- Ability to evaluate 3P trucks and determine if they are right for certain transport jobs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to connect with and persuade possible 3Ps.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to handle multiple 3P pipelines and recruitment processes at the same time. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Needs to talk and write fluently in English. Fluent in MS Office programs like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of applicant tracking methods and tools for hiring
- Must be able to go anywhere in Ghana when needed.
