POSITION: Procurement Assistant
Overview
The Procurement Assistant will be in charge of completing procurement of goods and services for the FHI360 Ghana Office, as well as ensuring documentation is completed correctly.
Job Summary
- Provide the highest level of procurement services to the FHI360 Ghana office in compliance with established laws, regulations, and policies.
- Ensure that the procurement process is fair and transparent, and that it complies with USAID policies and procedures.
- Identify and completely comprehend the optimal procurement procedures for optimizing the competitive bidding process.
- Prepare the procurement packages for assessment and approval.
- Reconcile the final invoice, delivery notes, and Purchase Orders and request upload to DPA.
- Maintain and update all trackers.
- Update folders on Share Point with essential documentation to ensure the filing system is full and consistent.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree is necessary in Business Administration, Business Management and
- Procurement Supply or a related field.
- At least 1–2 years of procurement experience, particularly in the NGO sector.
- Knowledge of USAID procedures and regulations is desirable.
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced atmosphere while meeting deadlines.
- The ability to communicate successfully.
- A strong grasp of written and spoken English is necessary.
