Job Description
A global mining business that we work with is looking for a Process and TLO Manager to join their team in West Africa. This person will answer to the General Manager and be in charge of making sure that ore production and processing are getting better.
Some important parts of the job are:
- Putting things in piles and stacks on a train loading platform.
- Keeping track of how much can be made.
- Using wheel rollers to load ore onto trains
Responsibilities:
- Use and make sure the HSE rules of the company are followed. Meet the safety goals set by the company’s policy.
- Every day, you’ll be in charge of the whole “Process and Train Loading” department.
- Define the global strategy to make sure crushed rock is made and trains are loaded according to the mine plan.
- Give the finance department the information they need about prices and the budget. Make suggestions for how to fix budget problems.
- Do checks, audits, and observations.
Requirements: Needs and Abilities
- Degree in mining or quarry engineering or civil works.
- Mining or quarry management training that has gone well.
- If you have lived in Africa before, that would be a plus.
- Project management skills.
- It would be good if you could learn French.
