Employment Opportunity at Generation

Job Title: Financial Planning Associate – Ghana (Remote/Consultant)

ABOUT GENERATION:

Generation is a world non-profit that helps adults get jobs and move up the economic ladder. Generation works with governments, employers, and other system actors to train and put adults of all ages in jobs that would not be possible otherwise. It has a global hub called Generation You Employed (GYE) and a network of members in each country.

So far, more than 76,000 graduates and more than 11,000 companies from 35 fields and 17 countries are part of the network. When people join Generation, 90% of them are out of work, and nearly half of them have been out of work for a long time. Three months after finishing school, 81% of graduates have jobs. After six months, that number goes up to 90%.

A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF THE JOB:

We need a great Financial Planning Associate to help us with our operations in Ghana by keeping accounting records, making reports, and handling the project’s budget for the next 2.5 years.

You will be joining Generation at an exciting time, as we are about to go to Ghana for the first time as part of a project called GROW with the MasterCard Foundation. Under this partnership, we will start new training and employment programs for a number of remote jobs, such as virtual assistants, data analysts, digital marketing, web development, and customer service. Generation will also be in charge of putting together a group of partners who will try out different ways of delivering services to find out “what works” before we expand.
