Customer Service Junior Associate at mPharma
At mPharma, we start and end each day by thinking about how we can help patients pay for their medicines. We are a small but growing team of more than 350 people. Our headquarters are in Accra, Ghana, and we are backed by investors who care about our mission.
We’ve worked with third-party payers, drug manufacturers, and healthcare providers to make products and services that lower the costs of prescription drugs for patients. In just a few years, we’ve been able to help hundreds of thousands of people in nine African countries get high-quality medicines at low prices.
Position Description
mPharma is looking for a professional who is responsible, trustworthy, and has very high work standards to join our project team as a Customer Service Associate for a certain amount of time.
He or she will be the main person in charge of building relationships with customers that keep them involved in the project and make them loyal to it. This is in line with mPharma’s mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities. The person in this role will work closely with customers to make sure they are happy with the services they get and to fix any problems they have. This job reports to the person in charge of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Always having a professional, friendly, and helpful attitude toward customers.
- Quickly responding to customer questions.
- Talking with customers through different ways.
- Listening to and taking care of customer complaints.
- Taking care of requests and orders.
- Keeping track of conversations, transactions, comments, and complaints with customers.
- Talking to colleagues and working with them as needed.
- Giving feedback about how well the customer service process works.
- Make sure customers are happy and give them professional help.
- Owns and leads a number of customer accounts and manages their relationships using best practices for project management.
- Act as an expert on the product and offer technical and product support to customers when needed.
- Make and use procedures that give customers the best experience possible.
- Look for possible operational problems, like billing, drug deliveries, etc., and find ways to fix them.
- Communicate with departments in the supply chain to make sure all orders are filled on time.
Responsibilities
- An entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for mPharma’s goal of making high-quality medicines more accessible and affordable. A strong work ethic and a proactive “can do” attitude that doesn’t need much help from others.
- Fluent English with good writing, speaking, analyzing, and organizing skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Experience in the health field, either with multinational pharmaceutical companies, clinicians, or other healthcare services.
- Proven customer support experience
- Strong phone handling skills and active listening
- Familiar with CRM systems and practices
- Customer-focused and able to adapt to different types of people
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multitask, set priorities, and manage time well
- Strong interpersonal skills to network with new people and build business relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or a related field.
- Three or more years of work experience in a healthcare organization, including internships.
Location: Accra.
