Counselling (Academic & Social) Officer at Ghana Christian International High School
Ghana Christian International High School is seeking to recruit Counselling (Academic & Social) Officer.
Responsibilities
- Provides or oversees and organizes a wide range of professional social and/or mental health services for clients and their families.
- As needed, provides or helps to set up crisis intervention and emergency services.
- As needed for the job, gives counseling, therapy, or psychotherapy, as well as anticipatory advice, advocacy, and case management.
- May make treatment plans, plans for getting patients out of the hospital, and follow-up care plans.
- Identifies patients requiring therapeutic help.
- Collects information about patients through interviews, case histories, psychological tests, and/or observation.
- Evaluates information to find out what’s causing problems and how to treat them or send them to other specialists.
- Provides or sets up therapeutic, economic, and social interventions based on the patient’s and caretaker’s unique needs.
Qualification Required & Experience
Should have at least 5 years direct working experience in their respective fields and level they are applying for professional qualifications and an advanced working knowledge of office applications is an advantage
