Civil Engineer at LMI Holdings
The goal is to design, create, and build a wide range of projects for the built and natural environments from the beginning to the end.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Small to large building projects need to be planned, built, and kept up in a safe, timely, and environmentally friendly way.
- Do on-site research and look at maps, papers, tests, drawings, and other kinds of data.
- Do technical and viability studies and make plans that meet technical requirements.
- Check out the prices, materials, and risks.
- Give help and find creative solutions to any problems or needs that come up.
- Supervise and coach staff and communicate with a wide range of interested parties.
- Track the project’s growth and put together reports on its status.
- Manage the budget and buy the things you need.
Competencies
- Excellent understanding of design and visualization software like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar
- Site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, governmental approvals, etc.
- Skills for running and managing projects
- Good at talking to people and getting along with them
- Qualifications/Experience
- Civil engineering degree.
- 3 years of experience in the same kind of job
