Job Title: President

The BlueCrest Group of Institutions is a well-known group of schools in Ghana, Liberia, and Sierra Leone. We are looking for an outstanding professional to fill the job of President. We are committed to giving people a high-quality education and giving them the knowledge and skills they need in technology and fashion design.

This important job will be in charge of how BlueCrest institutions work in these areas. It will make sure that academic quality is high, that the institutions grow, and that the Provosts work well together.

Job Description

As the President of BlueCrest Group of Institutions, you will be in charge of Ghana, Liberia, and Sierra Leone. You will play a key part in driving the strategic direction, operational effectiveness, and growth of the institutions under your control. You will work closely with the rectors/presidents in each region to provide visionary leadership, support academic excellence, and help education and business work together.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy Leadership: Make and carry out a full strategy plan for the BlueCrest Group of Institutions in Ghana, Liberia, and Sierra Leone.
• Operational Oversight: Give advice and help to the rectors and presidents of BlueCrest institutions in each area to make sure they are managing their institutions well, allocating their resources well, and following the rules.
• Academic Excellence: Push for high-quality education and academic programs that meet worldwide standards and are relevant to the business world.
• Industry Collaboration: Form strategic relationships with relevant industries, businesses, and employers to help students get internships, jobs, and other opportunities to learn by doing.
• Financial Management: Be in charge of how BlueCrest’s institutions in Ghana, Liberia, and Sierra Leone handle their money.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with government agencies, regulatory bodies, local communities, and other relevant stakeholders to improve the institutions’ visibility, reputation, and effect.
• Develop talent: Find, hire, train, and keep the best teachers, staff, and administrative teams in all institutions.
• Governance and Compliance: Make sure that each region’s rules, approval standards, and legal requirements are followed.

Requirements

How to get in and what’s needed:

• A Ph.D., Ed.D., or an equivalent degree from an accredited school in a relevant area.
  Proven experience at a senior management level in education leadership, ideally in more than one region or country.
• Good business sense and experience in business growth, marketing, or working with the industry.
• Excellent skills in strategic thought, making decisions, and solving problems.
• Effective interpersonal and conversation skills, as well as the ability to work with people from different backgrounds.
• Familiarity with Ghana, Liberia, and Sierra Leone’s school systems, including local policies, trends, and regulatory frameworks.
• Expertise in financial management, such as planning, forecasting, and allocating resources.
• Shown that they can lead projects for organizational growth, innovation, and managing change.
• Proven track record of helping people work together, making relationships, and getting people involved.
• Having the ability to move between areas as needed.
