Agric Extension Officers at Oyster Agribusiness Company
Job Description
- To plan and keep track of all actions in the operational area, such as the distribution of inputs.
- Work with the Agriculture Officer to help farmers follow the rules and train them.
- Write up weekly and monthly reports on how things are going.
- Set up regular meetings for farmers at the village level and work with the District MOFA Extension Officers in your area to train and teach farmers how to use inputs and tools safely and correctly.
- To show farmers how to use and put inputs to good use on farms.
- To keep an eye on demonstration farms and farmer’s farms in the area of activities and help collect data from both of them.
- To give all inputs to farmers in your operating area and keep track of who got what.
Desired Qualifications:
- Diploma or Certificate in Agriculture
- Knowledge of crop science is an added advantage.
