Position Description
Agresearch Lead is looking for enumerators to help with the next LEAN project.
Job locations include the Ashanti region, the Western North, Savannah, the Bono region, and the Upper East region.
Agresearch Lead is implementing the mid-term evaluation for the Landscapes and Environmental Agility throughout the Nation (LEAN) project at Rainforest Alliance across the high forest zone, savannah landscapes, and the transition landscape with the assistance of Rainforest Alliance.
The LEAN project’s fundamental value proposition is to address migration and poverty concerns by working with smallholder farmers and youth, engaging in knowledge-building about sustainable natural resource usage, and reaping the results. By working together with businesses, governments, and communities, LEAN is able to set up a system that will make the landscapes self-sufficient and sustainable over time. They do this by using Landscape’1, a framework for assessing multiple stakeholders, reporting platforms, and a verification system, to help drive sustainability at the landscape level across all three landscapes.
In Ghana, the Agresearch Lead would collaborate closely with key strategic partners such as Landscape Management Boards, CREAMAs, Forestry Commission, Ghana Cocoa Board, Districts/Municipal Assemblies, MoFA, CSOs, GES, MESTI, smallholder farmers, Community Opinion leaders, and others.
