A Cambridge associate school is looking for dedicated, experienced and qualified teachers for its primary department.
This school provides a student-focused approach to teaching, underlying a caring ethos and a belief that being a class teacher is not just about teaching but about having a creative and innovative approach that truly nurtures students.
Key Responsibilities
- Firstly, Teaching all areas of the curriculum
- Secondly, Taking responsibility for the progress of primary-aged pupils
- Thirdly, Organising the classroom and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment
- Moreover, Planning, preparing, and presenting lessons that cater to the needs of the whole ability range within the class.
- Additionally, Maintaining discipline
- Then, Recording pupils’ progress, attainment and achievement
- Also, Providing feedback to parents and carers on pupils’ progress
- Afterwards, Taking part in extra-curricular activities
- Finally, Keeping up to date with changes and development in the curriculum as well as current trends in teaching and learning.
Key Skills/Competences
- Able to employ varied teaching strategies
- Excellent class management skills Having taught the Cambridge Primary Programme
- Demonstrating commitment to the development of pupils and being professional
- Being ICT literate
Qualification/ Experience
- A minimum qualification of a degree in basic education or any relevant qualification from a recognised tertiary institution
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience
