Your duties
- Focuses on short to medium-term planning and face-to-face marketing of a wide range of products (with a strong emphasis on pumps, cyclones, and valves), services, and/or solutions across many lines of business for a specific set of existing clients.
- Focus on selling pumps, cyclones, and valves to the allocated customers.
- Supports the formulation of short to medium-term sales plans and strategies for protecting, growing, and diversifying relationships with a specific group of existing clients.
- Supports interactions with a designated group of existing clients to uncover cross-selling and recurring business prospects.
- Identifies opportunities in current client installations to replace equipment with products/equipment from the FLSmidth portfolio (increased wallet share).
- Ensures problem resolution and provides high-quality customer service.
- Provides feedback for the creation of customer retention and expansion strategy.
- Customer acquisition may occur from time to time, but the majority of focus throughout time is on current customers.
- Encourages a culture of personal and team safety, including those who may be impacted by the company’s operating activities.
Whatever you bring
- Minimum of 5–10 years experience in a sales capacity.
- This position necessitates strong communication abilities.
- Deep knowledge of PC&V products will be advantageous.
- This position requires previous account management experience.
- Knowing the mining landscape in West Africa will be advantageous.
- The ability to manage a small team will be necessary for this position.
- This position requires computer literacy as well as the ability to create PowerPoint presentations.
