POSITION: Business Development and Route to Market Senior Analyst
GBfoods provides culinary solutions in Europe and Africa with prominent local brands such as Jumbo, Gallina Blanca, Erasco, Gino, Liebig, Star, Bama, D&L, Grand’Italia, and Blå Band, among others. GBfoods Africa works in 24 countries and has a regional office in Accra, Ghana.

Job Purpose:
The Business Development and Route to Market Senior Analyst will assist the Business Development & Route to Market Director by delivering data-driven insights and analysis to optimize our distribution strategy and improve sales performance. This work include reviewing sales data, tracking performance metrics, and assisting with the design and execution of sales incentives and distributor performance management. The ideal applicant will possess strong analytical abilities, a thorough awareness of the FMCG landscape, and the ability to convert data into practical business insights.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
Sales Data Analysis and Insights:
- Analyze sales data from the sales automation technology to discover patterns, opportunities, and areas for development.
- Create actionable insights to help guide strategic decisions and optimize route-to-market strategies.
- Create and manage dashboards and reporting tools for monitoring key performance indicators and sales metrics.
Sales Incentive Support:
- Assist in the development and implementation of sales incentive programs that motivate and improve sales team performance.
- Monitor the effectiveness of incentive programs and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- To improve comprehension and engagement, ensure that incentive schemes are communicated clearly to the sales team.
Distributor Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor distributor performance and provide regular reports on important indicators and areas for improvement.
- Support the preparation and management of distributor rebates, ensuring that payments are accurate and timely.
- Develop and maintain relationships with distributors while offering analytical help to improve their performance.
ROI Analysis:
Conduct ROI analyses for distributors to determine the efficacy of investments and promotional efforts.
Collaborate with the finance and sales teams to ensure accurate ROI reporting and provide recommendations to improve distributor agreements.

Requirements
Education
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, economics, data analytics, or another relevant discipline.
Experience:
- A minimum of three to five years of experience in business development, sales analytics, or route-to-market roles in the FMCG industry.
- Proficiency with data analytics tools, sales automation software, and dashboard reporting.
Skills
- Strong analytical skills, including experience in data analysis, insight generation, and sales performance tracking.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to convert complex data into clear, actionable ideas.
- Strong organizational skills, with a focus on detail and the capacity to manage numerous activities at once.
- Knowledge of Ghana’s FMCG market and distribution channels is preferred.
