The Economic and Commercial Office of Spain in Accra (Ghana) has announced an open selection process to fill a temporary vacancy as an Administrative Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Filing, creating reports and presentations, preparing for meetings, and reordering supplies.
• Providing real-time scheduling assistance by booking appointments and avoiding conflicts.
• Making travel arrangements, such as booking flights, renting automobiles, and making reservations at hotels and restaurants.
• Screening phone calls and directing them to the right party.
• Using computers to make reports, transcribe meeting minutes, prepare presentations, and conduct research.
• Meet and assist tourists.
• Maintain polite and professional communication by phone, email, and mail.
• Anticipate the needs of others to ensure a seamless and enjoyable encounter.
• To work as an administrative assistant, you must have an associate’s degree in a related profession.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Previous administrative experience.
• Excellent computer skills, particularly typing.
• Pay attention to detail.
• Multilingualism may be preferable or essential.
• Desire to be proactive in providing a positive experience for others.
