Job Title: Credit Officer
We’re searching for a dynamic credit officer to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Meeting with clients who are interested in taking out a loan and providing them with the information they need to begin the application process.
- Gathering the necessary financial documentation and evaluating the clients’ creditworthiness.
- Calculating and assessing clients’ risk ratios using their credit score and financial history.
- Approve or decline loan requests, and communicate your decision to clients and management.
Qualifications & Experience
- HND in accounting, finance, banking, business, or a related discipline.
- At least two years’ experience as a credit officer.
- Thorough understanding of loan application procedures and best lending practices under state laws and regulations.
- The ability to deal with loan management software.
- Excellent communication skills and previous customer service experience.
- Strong analytical abilities and the ability to work with complex financial data.
- Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to operate effectively under pressure.
- Strong ethical behaviour and the capacity to handle sensitive financial information.
Location: Accra.
