POSITION: Marketing Officer
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Marketing Officer to plan and oversee the company’s marketing efforts. You will be responsible for ensuring that all marketing operations fulfil management’s goals.
She or he must be very enthusiastic about marketing and have a thorough understanding of applicable marketing tactics and principles. The ideal candidate will be a great communicator with expertise managing various marketing endeavours.
The purpose is to ensure that the company’s marketing efforts maximise the value of its business.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the implementation of marketing strategy.
- Organise and participate in marketing activities or events to increase brand exposure.
- Plan advertising and promotional strategies for products or services across various media (social, print, etc.).
- Communicate with stakeholders and vendors to ensure the success of activities and increase the company’s presence.
- Prepare content for publication of marketing materials and oversee distribution.
- Conduct market research to determine prospects for promotion and expansion.
Required Skill or Experience
- Degree or HND in a business-related discipline.
- 2–3 years of professional experience
Skills
- Proven experience as a marketing officer or related role – Strong understanding of marketing tactics and principles.
- A solid understanding of market research methodology, statistics, and data analysis procedures.
- A thorough understanding of social media and online analytics
- Excellent organisation and multitasking skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creativity and Commercial Awareness
- A team player with a customer-focused approach.
