Job Title: E T Consultant

Job Description
The Manufacturing sector team is recruiting E T Consultant for its teams to work closely with IFC’s Investment Officers, who are responsible for the origination, structuring, negotiation, and subsequent supervision of the Corporation’s investment projects.
E T Consultant helps identify new projects and assist Investment Officers in executing transactions and portfolio monitoring.
These positions will be based in Accra, Ghana and Cairo, Egypt.
Duties & Accountabilities
- Firstly, Support market and industry research and analysis for new business leads which need IFC financing.
- Secondly, Developing new business leads for IFC
- Thirdly, Identify data collection needs with clients to obtain needed information for structuring transactions
- Moreover, Providing relevant support to internal teams in processing new transactions, and managing the portfolio on existing transactions
- Additionally, Understands the financial aspects of investment or advisory transactions, including how to conduct market analysis and determine financial soundness of company or project opportunity.
- Finally, Demonstrated skill in financial statement analysis, accounting, finance, financial modeling, DCF, and comparable company analysis to support informed decision making.
Selection Criteria
- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree.
- At least 2 years of work experience in a financial institution, particularly in investment projects.
- Ability to develop financial models.
- Interest in development finance and multicultural environments.
- Highly motivated, committed to highest ethical standard, ability to work successfully in multicultural teams and across boundaries.
- Knowledge of financial markets.
- Analytical and conceptual skills including corporate/project finance.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
- Fluency in English required, fluency in French is a plus, proficiency in additional languages are preferred.

If an ET appointment ends before a full year, it is considered as a full year toward the lifetime maximum. Former and current ET staff who have completed all or any portion of their second-year ET appointment are not eligible for future ET appointments.
