Role Description
This is a contract Architect position at WILKUA CONSTRUCTIONS in Accra, with some flexibility for remote work. The architect’s responsibilities will include architectural design, project management, software development, integration, and overall project coordination. The position provides a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Meeting with clients and understanding their needs and requirements.
- Managing design projects from inception to completion.
- Create and present project proposals.
- Changing designs and plans to accommodate the client’s requirements.
- Creating drawings, plans, specifications, and building documentation.
- Conducting research and creating reports on feasibility and environmental impact.
- Conforming to safety requirements and local planning regulations.
- Setting and adhering to budgets and timeframes.
- Managing project teams and working alongside other construction professionals.
Qualifications
- Architecture and Architectural Design Skills
- Project Management Expertise
- Software development and integration skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to operate independently and collaboratively.
- Requirements for this position include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture, as well as experience with appropriate software.
