POSITION: Senior Sales Executive – Fleet/Retail – Automotive
Job Role
Fleet Sales Executives offer new vehicles directly to fleet accounts. The Sales Executive will collaborate with the corporate community, government entities, and political subdivisions to meet all types of transportation demands. The Sales Associate is also responsible for developing a repeat and referral program.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality service to customers while looking for ways to get new business or retain existing customers. Case processing, dealing with difficult queries, and investigating and resolving client concerns are all possible responsibilities.
- Support the monitoring and review of dealer performance and behaviours to identify and rectify noncompliance with the organization’s policies and OEM standards.
- During sales conversations, search for ways to connect customers’ demands to further products/services offered by the firm.
- Extract and combine data to create standard reports.
- Respond to basic issue escalations swiftly and responsibly, and offer managerial approvals as needed.
- Sell simple items and services directly to clients while adhering to established protocols.
- It may additionally include providing back-office support to a sales force.
- Maintain an awareness of applicable technology, external regulation, and industry best practices by continuing your education, attending conferences, and reading specialized publications.
- Develop one’s skills by participating in evaluation and development planning activities such as formal and informal training and coaching; obtain or retain external applicable professional accreditation to improve performance and maximize personal potential.
Education
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a Relevant Field of Study is recommended.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Minimum Experience:
- 3+ years of auto sales experience
- Proven experience in automotive consumer relations and marketing.
Job-Specific Skills:
- Excellent customer service and sales abilities.
- Initiates compelling sales conversations.
- Understands Buying Influencer Needs
- Action Planning
- Works without supervision and gives technical guidance as needed to identify clients’ explicit needs as well as unforeseen opportunities and difficulties.
- Works without supervision and provides technical assistance as needed to express the customer’s needs in the customer’s business language and context.
- Effective verbal and written communicator.
- Excellent telephone and presentation abilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
