University of Alberta International Undergraduate Scholarships 2024-2025

Are you an overseas student hoping to study in Canada on a scholarship during the 2024–2025 academic year? Then, you can benefit from the University of Alberta’s General International Undergraduate Scholarships, which are available to applicants from outside of Canada.

Undergraduate scholarships, awards, and financial support totaling $34 million are given out annually by the University of Alberta to a diverse range of students, regardless of their academic achievements, leadership qualities, or overall well-being.

Description of the Scholarship

There are numerous international undergraduate scholarships available, which fall into two main categories: scholarships based on application and scholarships based on admission. The Gold Standard Scholarship, which awards students up to $6,000 CAD, the Regional Excellence Scholarship, and the International Admission Scholarship are examples of admission-based scholarships.

The Global Citizen Scholarship for IB Diploma International Students, which offers students up to $120,000 CAD over four years, is one of the application-based scholarships offered by the University of Alberta, along with the President’s International Distinction Scholarship, the International Leader Scholarship, and the May Quon Undergraduate Scholarship.

Qualification Standards

Interested candidates must fulfill the following criteria in order to be considered for the University of Alberta’s General International Scholarships:

  • Must be accepted into one of the University of Alberta’s approved undergraduate programs for the 2024–2025 academic year.
  • Need to exhibit outstanding academic credentials.
  • Needs to exhibit the traits of a leader.

Procedures for Applications

How To Apply?

You must first apply for a study spot at the University of Alberta in order to be considered for the University of Alberta General International Scholarships. Applicants must additionally complete the scholarship application form before the application deadline in order to be eligible for application-based scholarships.

The deadline to apply is January 11, 2024.
