UK GREAT Scholarships: University of York Scholarship 2024

The University of York is providing five scholarships to select international students applying for a range of postgraduate courses in collaboration with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign.

The British Council and 72 UK universities launched the GREAT Scholarship 2024 program, which helps postgraduate students from Bangladesh, China, Egypt, Ghana, Greece, Kenya, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Thailand, Turkey, and Vietnam take advantage of top-notch higher education opportunities in the UK.

Concerning this chance

The scholarship program provides students pursuing a one-year postgraduate study in the UK with financial support of at least £10,000. The 72 universities located in England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland accept applications from students for courses in a variety of subjects.

Applications for the University of York GREAT Scholarship are welcome from students enrolled in most postgraduate taught programs in China, Pakistan, and Thailand. Only those submitting an application for one of our postgraduate law programs from Nigeria or Turkey are eligible. A comprehensive list of courses and exclusions can be found in the eligibility section. Each nation is eligible for a single award. The payment of all rewards will be deducted from the tuition.

Candidates will be evaluated according to their written applications and past academic standing. Applicants with the best academic records—such as a UK first-class degree or its equivalent—will be given considerable preference.
