The Embassy of Ghana in Washington Invites Job Applications
The Embassy of the Republic of Ghana in Washington, D.C. is looking for someone to fill the position of Consular Assistant, which is currently open.
Responsibilities
The Consular Assistant would be in charge of, among other things, but not limited to, the following:
- Give our customers, who come from Ghana and other countries, Partners in development, and possible investors great customer service;
- Helps with getting visas and passports processed;
- Answer questions about consular applications through emails and phone calls; and
- Do other jobs as needed or as they may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in any field;
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills, as well as competency in basic Computing and Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel;
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to maintain good judgment;
- Excellent skills in customer service and the ability to make good decisions;
- Experience with administrative and clerical tasks.
- Must be a legal resident of the United States and have a work permit from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
