Technical Training Resources Developer and Trainer at World Food Programme
JOB PURPOSE:
The Training Resources Developer and Trainer will be under the supervision of the Project Manager of the Accra Training Centre. The incumbent’s duties required shall include but are not limited to the following:
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be the technical point of contact and change and add technical training content to the training catalog.
- Make pedagogical resources and work with the Learning Management System Developer to upload content for e-learning.
- Change the training materials for the Learning Management System that is used online.
- Do evaluations before and after training and suggest changes when needed.
- Plan training sessions, including the right training equipment and the length of the training, always taking into account the level of skill of the participants.
- Make training plans and classroom schedules.
- Set up online training sessions, webinars, workshops, etc. for trainees and run them.
- Work with outside speakers to figure out how they can help with the training sessions.
- Work with the Training Coordinator to keep track of and rate the results of training sessions.
- Make sure that the training materials for both in-person and online sessions match the goals of the training.
- Do any other tasks asked of you that are related?
Needed Qualifications and Experience
- A degree from a college or university in mechanical, automotive, electrical/electronic, or a related field.
- At least one year or more of professional experience in mechanics or training, after getting a college degree. It would be a plus if you had experience teaching skilled professionals or apprentices.
Language: Be able to speak and write fluently in the UN language used at the duty station and, if different, the language of the duty station. Having French would be a plus.
Location: Accra is the place.
