Our client is looking for a Software Engineer to assist with the development of new and innovative solutions across a variety of industries. The employment is based in Tema.
Key Responsibilities:
- As a front-end, back-end, or full stack developer, you will design and develop SaaS applications, create useful APIs to improve user experience, and have extensive understanding of Java, Python, and PHP.
- Expertise in JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, Angular, React)
- Knowledge of databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles
- Experience scaling applications for high data traffic
- DevOps and Agile experience
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
Qualifications & Experience
- At least three years of professional experience as a software developer.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field.
- Practical programming experience with applicable languages.
- Experience with applicable tool suites.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Creative problem-solving abilities.
- Experience managing the entire software development lifecycle.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and complete projects on schedule and within budget.
- Experience collaborating with clients and business partners.
- A thorough comprehension of computer science topics.
- Excellent coding abilities.
- Extensive understanding of agile approaches.
- Strong team-building abilities.
- The ability to travel when necessary.
