Automatic Scholarships for Freshmen

Because of your hard work, we would like to give you bigger scholarships as a thank you. To help you pay for education, we provide automatic scholarships up to $14,000, which are given out annually over four years. And qualifying is quite easy. Simply apply to MSUM to be accepted!

Either your GPA or your ACT aggregate score will determine whether you get your scholarship.

Additionally, you can participate in student life activities and automatically renew your scholarship with a 3.0 or 3.5 GPA, as every student’s definition of success in college varies. We are aware that participating on campus would enable you to fulfill your graduation objective.

Transfer Scholarships for Students

Transfer students can apply for automatic, competitive, and need-based scholarships at Minnesota State University Moorhead. At the time of acceptance, automatic scholarships are given out based on the transfer GPA.

The MSUM Foundation provides incoming, current, and graduate students with scholarships given by alumni, companies, friends, and foundations in addition to the automatic scholarships given out during the admissions process.

Automatic Transfer Scholarships

It’s simple to apply for automatic scholarships and get accepted. No more applications are needed. Undergraduate transfer students who are citizens of the United States pursuing their first undergraduate degree and have completed 24 semester or 36 quarter credit hours will automatically be given transfer scholarships. To be eligible for the scholarship, full-time enrollment (12 or more MSUM credits per semester) is needed.

Current Scholarships for Students

Current MSU Moorhead students pursuing their first undergraduate degree who are in good standing and have completed at least 12 MSUM semester credits by the conclusion of the fall semester are eligible for upper-class scholarships. The MSUM Foundation provides incoming, current, and graduate students with scholarships funded by alumni, companies, friends, and foundations.

Numerous of these scholarships are offered by certain institutions, departments, and initiatives. Every year on October 1st, there is a deadline of February 1st for submitting the application and recommendation form.

Scholarships for upper-class competition

Scholarships for the upper class are offered to students pursuing their first undergraduate MSUM degree. Each semester, applicants must enroll full-time (12 credits or more). Every year on October 1st, the online scholarship application becomes available, with a deadline of February 1st.

Scholarships for International Students
