• Selection Criteria: The following factors will be taken into consideration while choosing candidates:
• Nationality and domicile: You need to be a citizen and a resident of one of the qualifying nations.
• Outstanding School Achievements: Exhibited exceptional academic achievement.
• English Language Proficiency: Able to communicate in English in classes where it is the medium of instruction.
• Motivation: A strong desire to follow the chosen academic path.
• Requires being in good health.
• Age: We favor candidates under 30.

How to apply:

Below is a breakdown of the scholarship application and selection procedure, which will start in September 2024:

Phase 1: FAO prescreening

• The FAO will prescreen applicants and send applications to Hungary’s Ministry of Agriculture.
• The Ministry of Agriculture will forward the applications to the university that the applicants have specified.
• Students must only submit completed dossiers; incomplete ones won’t be considered.

Phase 2: Assessment and College Gratification

• The involved university will carry out an additional screening procedure and notify the chosen applicants immediately.
• FAO won’t have any influence over the university’s selection procedure.
• The Ministry will notify the chosen students.
