Servair Ghana Calls For Job Applications
We are an international food company that does many different things in the catering business, and we are looking for an ACCOUNT OFFICER.
Responsibilities
Among the duties, but not all of them, are the following:
- Keep track of the general budget according to international and local accounting standard
- The person in charge of the Trial Balance’s handling, control, and accuracy.
- Does a daily, monthly, and yearly close.
- Makes sure the general ledger is set up right and that all rules and procedures are followed.
- Makes sure that vendor bills are processed and entered on time and correctly.
- Validate and settle vendor’s payment
- Processes purchase order invoices by matching the price and amount on the invoice to the order. Makes sure that new vendor and expense accounts are processed on time and correctly.
- Makes sure that inter-company bills are handled on time and correctly.
- tries to straighten out any problems by talking to sellers.
- When necessary, reconciles statements from sellers and looks into problems with invoices and receipts.
Required Skills or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
- 2 to 3 years of accounting in general
- Having knowledge of SAP in accounting is a plus.
