Ridge Church School Calls For Job Applications
Ridge Church School is looking for a Stand-in Social Studies Teacher for the Junior High School.
Responsibilities
- Setting up schedules, lesson plans, and learning materials and tools that will help meet the goals of the curriculum.
- Analyzing the students’ needs, hobbies, strengths, and weaknesses and making lesson plans based on these things.
- Monitoring students’ growth and behavior, and letting parents and school counselors know who needs more help.
- Setting rules for the classroom and for debates, and making sure that all students follow these rules.
- Asking for the right books and learning tools.
- Putting together school trips and making sure permission slips are given out and signed on time.
- Taking part in school activities and being a guide when needed.
- Going to meetings, staff training, conferences, and other events that help you keep learning.
- Students are told about chances to learn and are prepared for formal debates and other events.
Needed Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Social Sciences or Social Studies
- At least 3 years of teaching experience
- Excellent written and spoken English conversation skills
Location: Accra.
