POSITION: Assurance Senior Associate

Responsibilities
- As a Senior Associate, you’ll learn a lot about how businesses work and have direct access to internal stakeholders and clients. - Some of the duties are, but are not limited to:
- Using your teamwork and relationship-building skills to make sure that your and the audit team’s documentation meets PwC and regulatory standards from planning to completion of an audit;
- Performing a wide range of auditing tasks, such as finding problems, analyzing data, describing findings, and being able to come to smart conclusions;
- Building meaningful relationships and showing curiosity will allow you to have insightful conversations and give the auditors a visible challenge;
- Giving other people opportunities to learn and coaching will help you find the best way to do an audit.
- Creating links between teams and specialties within PwC, managing different points of view, and consulting when necessary;
- gaining new insights and suggesting new ways to improve the quality of audits; and
- Putting the team first by coaching with a goal in mind, being there for the team, and being clear about what is expected.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- University degree from a well-known school.
- Be a qualified accountant with a Chartered Accountant, ACCA, or ICA certificate (or the international equivalent);
- Experience with IFRS and the International Standards on Auditing (ISA);
- Strong organizational skills, experience with audits from planning to completion, and a history of pushing yourself and others to do high-quality testing and documentation.
- Ability to make and keep relationships, which includes being able to talk clearly with coworkers and the companies we audit.
- Ability to look over the work of others and give comments and feedback to help the team improve its technical skills and make audits better; and
- Takes pride in what they do and in their job as an auditor. Shows toughness and a commitment to self-improvement, such as by being flexible and creative in the digital world.
