ROLE: Puma – B2B – Key Account Manager
Main Purpose:
The main purpose of this job is to create and run the business-to-business fuel (clean product and fuel oil) business in the region, including making sure sales go up and the business makes money overall.
Manage the LOB in line with the company’s general policies and improve business performance by increasing sales and maximizing profits, coming up with new ways to boost sales, and meeting customer needs.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Improve the Fuels business unit’s sales, profits, and success by bringing in new customers and making important deals with key customers in all segments.
- Find new areas of business and make sales with all majors.
- Run the company’s business-to-business activities, make business plans, and put them into action in order to reach the main goals of regional business growth.
- Coaching, training, and developing B2B and staff while setting up and putting into action quality projects, good customer service, and increasing staff productivity.
- Set business goals, make business predictions, and make the right business choices.
- Review the results by country in the given area on a regular basis.
- Compare the actions that were planned and the actions that were carried out.
- Visit the customer and the key management team of the potential customer on the job.
- Lead the development, analysis, and implementation/improvement of the company’s current business-to-business processes and actions, such as internal training and price management.
- B2B Territory managers must be led, managed, supervised, and their work must be coordinated.
- Be in charge of the process for evaluating new business possibilities. Pay attention to how your business can grow in new areas.
- Take charge of developing the knowledge and skills of key personnel in B2B within the line of business group and in other lines of the company.
- Promote best practices and processes at different levels of the company and in different countries (and business cultures).
- Plan and lead field visits with the key management team from both the customer and the potential customer.
Skills and Requirements:
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, industrial engineering, or strategic planning management.
- You must have a postgraduate degree in business administration.
- At least three years experience in similar jobs.
- 8–10 years of experience in the field as a whole.
- Shown a track record of sales success.
Skills:
- Bilingual: able to speak both English and the local language.
- Knowing about business and corporate rules
- Programs in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Tools and apps for presentations
Competencies:
- Having the ability to make sales and money
- Excellent writing and spoken communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace and under pressure. Excellent negotiating and analytical skills.
- Good work habits
- able to work on more than one project at the same time
- Excellent business skills
- Good at fixing problems and resolving conflicts
- A strategic view of the business. The ability to give team members responsibility.
Key Relationships and an Overview of the Department:
- Internal: OPS, FIN, RET, Pricing, and GM
- External: Accounts, prospects, dealers, and distributors are the most important ones.
