POSITION: Director, Talent & Leadership Development, AFCAN

Your Role:

You will help design and manage strategies for talent management and leadership development within the business unit. The goal is to improve skills and employee engagement, aligning with global strategies.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop a talent and leadership strategy that fits with the global plan.
  • Identify specific leadership needs and work with the team to create programs.
  • Deliver leadership training for employees.
  • Assess talent needs and develop programs accordingly.
  • Plan for future leadership roles.
  • Improve programs to help local talent grow.
  • Implement a performance management system and suggest improvements.
  • Prepare materials to inform executives about talent and leadership strategies.
  • Enhance new hire orientation and financial assistance programs for education.
  • Promote inclusion and diversity through talent management programs.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Knowledge in designing and managing talent programs, performance reviews, and employee development.
  • Experience in leadership development and understanding of change management.
  • Familiarity with inclusion and diversity practices.
  • Experience working in large organizations and managing teams.

Problem-Solving Skills:

  • Ability to develop and improve systems based on trends.
  • Think critically about ways to achieve goals.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in leadership and talent management program design.
  • Good at change management and project management.

Social Skills:

  • Self-aware and able to adapt based on feedback.
  • Able to work well with teams, resolving conflicts and fostering collaboration.
