A hospital in Accra and Tema requires the service of a Medical Officer.
Responsibilities
- Clinical expertise and mentoring junior physicians.
- Risk management and administration.
- Maintaining patient care excellence.
- Verifying complex diagnoses and aiding treatment.
- Hiring, supervising, and mentoring healthcare workers and consulting.
- Budgeting and improving inpatient care.
- Staying current and supporting medical research.
- Making sure that healthcare rules and safety standards are followed.
- Reporting to senior management and coordinating between administrative and medical staff.
- Making sure that the way medical records are kept is consistent and accurate.
Requirements
- Must be able to handle basic medical, surgical, obstetric, and pediatric cases.
- Must have a valid MDC license.
- Must have sound managerial skills.
- Patient-friendly and affable.
- Not less than 5 years of working experience.
