ROLE: Country Manager
Food People is assisting a renowned food manufacturing firm in their quest for a Ghana Country Manager. The Country Manager will be in charge of the complete operation inside the target market and must be self-starting, with the capacity to function independently and build the business through his/her good track record and understanding of the country.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver the annual budget and key performance indicators (KPIs) with an emphasis on growth and profitability.
- Control the distributor relationship and track their performance with clear KPIs and deliverables.
- Monitor key performance indicators for sales execution.
- Increase market share across all segments
- Deliver the sales targets based on the growth matrix of the stretch plan.
- Implement the trading plan in accordance with the agreed-upon budgets.
- Monthly business evaluations with distributors are needed to drive success.
- Implement the agreed-upon market activities on time and within budget.
- Execute important account business development activities with a clear ROI strategy.
- Implement the trade and budget with an eye toward ROI.
- Drive efficiency in distributor costs and track compliance on a monthly basis.
ESSENTIAL INGREDIENTS
- A minimum of ten years of hard-core FMCG sales experience is required.
- The candidate must have a track record of operating a full P&L in Ghana.
- A thorough understanding of the target market, as well as its distributors and trends
- Someone who has experience working in unstructured contexts is preferred.
- Self-motivated, self-assured, and enthusiastic about the food sector
- A self-starter who is motivated by meeting and exceeding stated goals
