Job Title: Guest Experience Supervisor
POSITION SUMMARY
Process all guest check-ins, which includes verifying the guest’s identity, payment method, room assignment, and activating/issuing the room key. Set up accurate accounts for each guest according to their requirements. Type in information about Marriott Rewards. Ensure rates match market codes, document exceptions.
Secure payment prior to issuing room key, verify/adjust billing. Make and look over daily reports, logs, and “what-if” lists. Cashier and closing reports must be filled out. Give guests directions and information about the property. Respond to guest requests by calling the right people if necessary. Follow up to ensure requests have been met. Handle all types of payments, including vouchers, payments, and charges.
Balance and drop receipts. Count the bank and lock it up at the beginning and end of your shift. Get manual permissions and follow all of the accounting rules. If a guest reports theft, you should tell Loss Prevention/Security.
Ensure adherence to quality standards. POS systems and computers can be used to enter and find information. You have to stand, sit, or walk for a long time. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Do any other reasonable job tasks that your supervisors ask you to do.
