Role: Customer Experience Intern

About the company

MainOne is a major facilitator and preferred provider of innovative telecom services and network solutions like Connectivity and Data Center Solutions to Telecom operators, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), other businesses, and government institutions across West Africa.

Responsibilities

The Customer Experience Intern will be in charge of tracking and reporting on how customers feel in line with the Customer Experience Strategy of the company.

In particular, some of the other duties are:

  • Effective tracking and reporting of how well customers are doing and how much they are using.
  • Then, Keep in touch with customers regularly through calls, emails, and visits.
  • Support the process for letting internal and external customers know about planned outages and emergencies in a fast manner and making sure that accurate data is available for escalation.
  • Also, Follow up with customers about planned maintenance and visits to make sure that SLAs aren’t broken.
  • Help the right people get the equipment back from the customer’s location on time.
  • Follow up with assigned staff to make sure problems are solved in a fast manner and flag any possible SLA violations.
  • Moreover, Review and fix any failures or broken SLAs right away, especially when asked.
  • Set up and run talks to review customer service
  • Make sure that all customer info is up-to-date by flagging differences and, if necessary, taking action.
  • Additionally, Help with the implementation of agreed-upon SLA standards that are meant to improve the customer experience and raise company awareness and loyalty.
  • Every day and every week, keep track of and report any problems that could hurt the general customer experience.
  • Ensure 80% answer rate to transactional CSI surveys.
  • Do any other jobs that may be asked of you.

Skills or Experience Needed

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, business management, or a related area is preferred.
  • Experience with National Service and a badge.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent people skills and the ability to build relationships.
  • Very strong abilities to talk and write.
  • Detail-oriented and able to take responsibility for the jobs they are given.
  • Dependable and able to be trusted.
  • Very good at being organized and keeping track of time.
  • Know how to use the MS Office tools well.

Demands of the Job

  • Ability to deal with difficult people and situations.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and understand general business documents (terms and conditions, technical processes, etc.).
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Capable of working under pressure and with little help.
  • How to handle time and set priorities.
  • Integrity and professionalism at a high level, especially when working with private information
