A graph machine-learning engineer is needed. In this capacity, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a variety of product and engineering experts.
- Create cutting-edge graph-based machine learning models and algorithms for detecting and mitigating fraudulent behaviors in complex, interconnected datasets.
- Implement and improve graph-based algorithms for node categorization, connection prediction, and community detection, all of which are specifically designed to detect patterns suggestive of fraudulent behavior.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams is required to integrate machine learning models into scalable and efficient production processes.
- Conduct extensive analysis and tests on graph-based data structures to evaluate model performance, scalability, and efficiency.
- Investigate and stay up-to-date on the most recent breakthroughs in graph-based machine learning approaches, providing ground-breaking concepts for our fraud detection technological capabilities.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a closely related discipline is required.
- 3 years of experience designing and deploying machine learning models especially designed for identifying fraud within graph-based data structures.
- Strong knowledge of graph theory, graph algorithms, and graph databases (for example, Neo4j, Amazon Neptune, TigerGraph).
- Proficient in machine learning programming languages (e.g., Python, R, Java) and libraries/frameworks (e.g., NetworkX, PyTorch Geometric, GraphSAGE).
- Hands-on expertise with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation in the domain of graph-based machine learning, with a focus on detecting fraudulent behaviors.
Excellent qualifications and experience:
- A thorough understanding of graph embedding techniques, graph neural networks, and their applications to real-world issues.
- PhD in Computer Science or a similar subject, with a concentration in graph-based machine learning.
- Knowledge of distributed computing frameworks (for example, Apache Spark) for scalable graph processing.
- Working knowledge of large-scale graph databases and performance optimization for computing efficiency.
- Open-source contributions related to graph-based machine learning or graph algorithms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as a sharp eye for detail, are required for optimizing algorithms for performance and scalability.
