POSITION: Security Officer
Job Purpose
The Security Officer will keep the company’s buildings, employees, customers, and property safe. They will watch what is happening, check who can enter, and quickly handle any security problems.
This job reports to the Operations Manager.
Areas of Responsibility
- Make sure all company belongings, like cars, employees, and tools, are safe.
- Stop things like stealing, damaging property, or people coming into the company without permission.
- Always be friendly and act professionally.
- Check the identity of everyone who comes in or goes out of the building.
- Keep a record of who visits, when deliveries happen, and which vehicles come in.
- Act quickly when you hear alarms, face emergencies, have security problems, or need to evacuate during a crisis.
- Tell the right supervisor or authorities about all incidents and keep clear records of what happened.
Needed Skills or Experience
- You need to have at least a Senior High School Certificate or something similar.
- Having 1–2 years of experience will be a plus.
- Good at noticing things and spotting any strange or suspicious behavior.
- You need to be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Must be a citizen of Ghana.
- Height: Men – 5. 6 feet and Women – 5. 2 feet
