Methodist University Ghana is seeking qualified, experienced, and professional candidates for the following jobs.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- A recognized professional with the ability to motivate and direct staff is required.
- Must be above reproach and demonstrate a strong sense of industry, leadership capabilities, and organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Interpersonal abilities
- A member of a recognized professional accounting/auditing body (ICA/ACCA/CIMA, CA, CPA) is required. A Master’s Degree, ideally an MBA/MSc/MS in Accounting/Finance, would be advantageous.
- Must have experience as a Deputy Finance Officer/Deputy Director of Finance/Deputy Internal Auditor in a university or comparable institution. OR
- A minimum of ten years post-qualification experience in a respectable and recognized law practice, industry, commerce, or public service.
Qualifications and Prerequisites
- Applicants must have an excellent master’s degree in Finance/Accounting as well as professional accreditation as a Chartered Accountant (CA (Gh), ACCA, CIMA, CPA).
- Applicants must have worked in the same capacity or as a Deputy Finance Officer for at least four (4) years in a university or related organization.
- Be a good team leader; be analytical, critical, and innovative.
- Must possess good IT abilities and be familiar with Accounting software; must be able to work under pressure in order to achieve deadlines.
- Excellent supervision and communication skills are required
- Show your dedication to honesty and ethical behavior.
