POSITION: Project Manager
About Us
Lincoln Community School is one of the best American International Schools in Africa. It has 560 students who come from more than 60 different countries.
Job Description
The school wants to hire a Project Manager to oversee the planning and building of several projects to improve campus facilities. The Project Manager will be in charge of all parts of the project, including planning, bidding, supply chain management, a communication program, and building the project until it’s done. During the process, the Project Manager will work closely with different professionals, like architects and builders, to make sure the projects are finished on time and according to the approved plans.
Skills or Experience Needed
- At least 5 years of experience as a project manager for building projects.
- Architects and engineers need a professional certificate.
- Knowledge of how to finance and run projects and of economics.
- Know how to buy things and talk to people.
- Autocad or a similar design program, Microsoft Schedule, and the right software for cost control and tracking.
- Learn how to work in an international setting.
Preferred:
- Experience working on the building of an educational facility.
- Experience working with people from different backgrounds.
Qualifications:
- Degree in architecture, structural engineering, or a similar field.
- A member of the Ghana Association of Engineers who hasn’t been kicked out.
