What the job entails
You will report to the Senior Legal Consultant and help both public and private sector clients with legal restructuring, corporate, and other legal and business advice.
Among the job responsibilities will be:
- Making contracts, reviewing them, and negotiating them
- Regulatory studies, reviews of laws, and figuring out what they mean
- Doing research and writing in-depth reports
- Putting together legal opinions
- Capable of making convincing arguments and presentations
Required Skills or Experience
- Good first degree from a well-known school.
- Ghana Bar-qualification, but International Bar qualification may be taken into account
- Having a post-graduate degree is a plus.
- 5 to 10 years of work history
- Multi-sectoral experience desired
- Skills for figuring things out
- Reporting and talking to people are skills
- Must be hardworking and willing to work long hours, even on the weekends.
