POSITION: Manager, Sales Excellence and Analytics
About The Job
Hapag-Lloyd Ghana is looking for a Manager, Sales Excellence and Analytics who will: ensure Area delivery of volume targets through sales target setting and opportunity management (via Salesforce.com and other analytic tools provided by the company), act as an enabler of Sales Execution and Sales Business Development across the area, ensure the delivery of volume targets for the different customer segments, and oversee the Area Sales support function and ensure continuous
Responsibilities
- Drive target setting and performance across all segments (Global, Key, Core, and Reefers) within the Area, including coordinating the budget planning process within the
- Area as well as with the Steering Teams and Trade Management.
- Create customer-centric dashboards to track critical indicators and conduct segment-specific performance analysis.
- Drive and support major sales objective setting and implementation, including the establishment of relevant processes (account plans, visits, portfolio coverage, prospects, etc.).
- Salesforce Opportunity Management (Module and Process Owner)
- Manages corporate intelligence, such as the efficacy of sales campaigns.
- Responsible for coordinating important sales matters across verticals with regional sales.
- Drive the highest levels of quality to our clients through our sales processes, be customer-oriented, and create value for both customers and Hapag-Lloyd.
- Ensure that the region follows the Sales Meeting cadence (as outlined in CXS).
- Roll out relevant sales training (in cooperation with BSD/HR), such as Commercial Academy, sales soft skill and product training, core selling and value selling, available tools (e.g., QV, Salesforce, and others), and so on.
Your Profile
- A university degree in business administration.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience.
- Experienced in shipping, supply chain, and liner industries, with strong sales skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint’s advanced features.
- Knowledge of sales-related tools such as SalesForce and QV, among others.
- Flexible communication skills
- Capable of creating and conducting presentations and trainings.
- Result-oriented team player with a proactive approach.
- Experience in front-line sales activity is an added benefit.
- Capable of connecting and driving results with functional teams digitally.
