POSITION: Support Engineer MFS

At the Karlskrona site, we have our main office for Mobile Financial Services, where we make one of the biggest financial technology products in the world. We are building a Mobile Financial Services competence center in West Africa so that we can serve our customers all over the area.
The Ericsson Wallet Platform is a product that lets our customers offer mobile financial services. Customers are both operators and banks, and both have very high expectations for how secure this financial solution is and how it is used, integrated, and customized. Together, we work on a product that helps millions of people in Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America live better lives every day. We build our financial platform to help many people around the world become financially free.
What Will You Do?
- Troubleshoot and fix technical problems that customers have reported.
- Make sure that Problem Management tasks are done well and are supported by the other delivery organizations and MSIP functions.
- Life cycle management should be used to update or upgrade software.
- As part of the MS Governance Model, coordinate the meetings where customers report on the status of problem management;
- Follow through on customer requests as agreed upon in the SLA or WLA.
- Get customer approval for solutions to problems that depend on the customer’s acceptance or action, and negotiate penalties if the customer doesn’t agree.
- Make sure the preventive maintenance plan meets customer needs, and if necessary, get customer approval.
- Coordinate the activities of ECW integration and configuration changes within the change window that has been approved.
- Then, Make sure that the effects of planned maintenance are reported to the customer and agreed upon.
- Push for efficiency, automation, and excellence in service delivery all the time.
- Approve and help with improvement plans that involve more than one delivery unit; handle internal and external audits.
- Get ready to talk about Ericsson at a meeting of people in charge.
Requirements
- Overall, 4-6 years of experience with operations.
- Experience with integrating Ericsson Converged Wallet Solution or a similar e-wallet product for at least 2 years.
- Experience in Operational Assurance or SME Managed Services.
- 3+ Years of Understanding of the Ericsson Wallet Platform or related BSS products, such as the
- Charging System BSS, with at least three years of experience.
- Strong team-performance-focused leadership skills
- Excellent understanding of network entities like F5, VMware & PKS.
- Hands-on experience with Shell scripting, Python, Unix-based platforms, application and network layer protocols, ELK, and Grafana.
- Skills in troubleshooting and analyzing.
- Having DB skills is a plus.
- Having knowledge of ITIL processes is a plus.
- Focused on getting things done and putting customers first.
- Can handle situations that are hard or unclear
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills
- Self-starter with a lot of drive and initiative, good at working with others, making connections, and networking.
- Outgoing personality that makes it easy to work together and make friends across organizational lines and in a global setting.
- Degree from a university in technology, preferably an MSC
- Know the telecom and financial technology industries.
- Knows a lot about containers, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Accept that you are working in a field that is changing quickly and know that the key to success is to innovate, adapt, and respond to change.
- If you can speak and write English well, that’s a plus.
