POSITION: Operations Officer
Built is a financial technology startup that aims to democratize success for small businesses across Africa. The enterprise uses web and mobile technology to assist small businesses start, run, and expand. The company’s primary product is a simple financial record-keeping application that allows small business owners to simply save and manage their financial data for quick data-driven decision-making, as well as access a selection of financial services tailored to their size and needs.
Who Are We Looking For?
We are a fast-growing company looking for a highly motivated and experienced operations officer. You will collaborate extensively with all departments to guarantee alignment and growth for the firm.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include the following.
- Administrative responsibilities that support daily company activities.
- Keeping minutes and following up on actions
- Providing staff with documentation and information on HR-related issues
- Managing employee data and onboarding new hires
- Management of incidental and recurring expenses, including software licenses, stationary, equipment, and procurement.
- Filing and digitizing corporate papers
- Manage team events, travel plans, and booking.
- Support the sales team with back-office duties.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a similar subject.
- Two or more years of operational experience
- Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
